Getting a old 3 series at 17 years old

I know this sounds stupid but how much is it gonna
cost me to own a 3 series 325i From 2003-2010,
I’m looking at multiple cars and most are from from
4-7k and have about 100000km to 200000km on
them. I can cover the initial cost with a budget of 6-
7 k but it is the maintenance and insurance that
scares me. I’m not asking if it’s a good idea but
more asking if I’ll even be able to afford owning it
working at kfc for a job, I would rather have the 335i
but it just seems unrealistic at this point but I could
still get one in good condition for 6k

I bought a 2006 325xi with close to 100K in 2014. No real issues and i am around 160K now but oil changes are close to $100, $50ish if you do it your self, replacing the tires when its time are about $80 bucks on the cheap end (most have run flats). If you are mechanical you can get parts pretty cheap now and replace your self, I am replacing my water pump and therm this weekend (Mechanic wanted $1500) I bought the parts brand new for $300. Great cars if you take care of them but definitely have some money put aside for a repair or parts
