My car went into limp mode on
transmission now stuck in third or fourth
gear how do I reset to get that gear
indicator on dash to go away and reboot
the car, i tried disconnecting battery didn't
work please help

You do not say how many miles are on the car. It is not unusual for the car to loose 1st or 2nd gear because the clutches gave out. If that is the case you will not be able to reset it until you either replace the transmission with the same model and year transmission or have your transmission rebuilt at which case the computer will reset itself when the new transmission goes into service.
