2006 325xi dead battery. no power

Asked by dominas May 25, 2018 at 09:34 AM about the 2006 BMW 3 Series 325xi Sedan AWD

Question type: General

Battery less then one year old. Owned car for 6 years and well maintained. Wife drove car to work and would not start to leave work. Dead battery. Some one from her work tried to jump start the car. When I arrived the battery was dead. I charged the battery back up and got the car started. Yes all the lights in the dash were on. After tuning the car on and off many times all lights went out. The car will not accelerate above 1500 rpm. Push gas pedal all the way down in park and will not rev up. The car has no codes or lights on.

Hello thank you for getting back with me. Starting and running has never been a problem. I believe the lights were left on and kill the battery.

Hi tom. After charging the battery the car will start rt up. It seams to be in limp mode. But no lights are on or codes
