Can you put 17 inch rims on a 2006 bmw 325i e90 with 16 inch rims on it

2006 BMW 325I E90 has 16 inch rims with 205/55/16 tires. Will 17 inch rims
with 215/55/17 tires fit without hitting anything??

If you used 215/50/17 tires they would be close to the height of what you have now. 55 series tires are too tall.
