What type of Coolant Fluid can I use in my 2006 325I

Asked by Damon Nov 28, 2011 at 07:11 PM about the 2006 BMW 3 Series 325i Sedan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Coolant light comes on at start. And I just notice, I see an oil leak coming from the
top front of the engine near the coolant fan. It appears to be coming from a large
knob. That I do not know what it is. HELP!!!!

Any commercially pre-mixed that says SAFE for all Engines will work. On mine that KNOB is the fill point.

Glycol based coolant will work, most dealers sell top up quntities. by top front do you mean the rocker cover or the oil filter housing.
