the Haynes manual shows a round distributor tadpole says flat, but in any case a mechanism has got to "distribute" the sparks on time...you have a distributor...if flat...someone's got to tell the WWW~

How about you give us the "firing order" of this dynamite pack?...huh, good of you to rip the judge's ass, but provided nothing towards meaningful content~
No man what you have is the inline 6 1990 BMW 3.5 there....just fishing for something when he said flat distributor...I get the demerits not you sir, this one is more difficult than it need be, searched too...

one could slowly turn the motor and test for spark on each in order~....then generate their own chart

A fancy right-angle distributor cap...it still has a rotor...open up the cap and look at the order there right in front of you~
now we're getting somewhere with those last two posts of yours judge, logic and common sense

thanks david, if a man made it...a man can understand it...a man can take it apart....a woman can put it back together again (or your mexican helper)~

Actually NO, admittedly I err, that isn't connection to the coil but a sensor...notice the donut and connector...it's for the ecu...~
