My car has a starting problem whenever it is freezing temperatures. Premium Fuel, is almost full tank.

Asked by tsamuel572 Jan 08, 2014 at 04:30 PM about the 1994 BMW 5 Series 540i Sedan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It starts regularly, except in freezing temperatures. Have put a New Battery. It cranks well.
After 3/4 cranks, I have to wait for about 10/15 minutes and then it starts. Today it took
me an hour to start it. Please comment

Spark plugs may need changed. When cold it takes a good hot spark to fire the cylinders.
