stain on speedometer glass from glass cleaner 1997 528i

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Window wash got on speedometer glass/plastic while washing inside of windshield. Tiny spots from spray will not come off. The chemical must have reacted with the speedometer glass/plastic. Any suggestions to clean this up, maybe buffing or rubbing? I haven't tried anything because I don't want to make it any worse.
