Need new tires have Michelin Run flats as original should I stick to those or are there comparable ones at a better price?

Man, there are SO many to choose from. If I was in your position I think I would stick with those same Michelins..they are a superior tire, a bit pricey but peace of mind is not cheap and is a wonderful thing to have

Many owners don't like the harsh ride from the run flat tires. Check sites like Tirerack.com for ratings. You can also check a couple of BMW forums to see what other owners have done.

You don't have Run-Flats on this vehicle, nor should you! This thing called a "SPARE" is terrific! Depending on your vehicle's specs, being sport or not, there are plenty of choices to choose from. Personally, I like having a 94H on my sportwagen because I am not planning on exceeding 120 mph very often. Having bout mine used, there were Z rated rubber tires to begin with. I won't need those unless my supercharger comes in. I have a 235-45R17 on my stock BBS style fives. I LOVE my Yokohama's! My Pirelli's were crap. MIchelin's were just way too expensive. I had some Coopers Zenons that were decent. I really was considering the Continentals the last time, but I got a great deal on the Yoko's and went that route.
