put new spark plugs coils cam sensor crank sensor fuel filter did vanos  first is was falling idol from just sitting in park now eml light keeps coming up like it got worse still has failing to idol properly

EML like is for your electronic controlled throttle you may be having an issue with it.

I have a 2000 528i and the EML light came on and sometimes it would go off but the car didn't run good at all then I took the time to clean out the ICV AND ITS BEEN RUNNING VERY WELL AFTER I DID THAT SO TRY CLEANING THE ICV IT WORKED FOR ME
