Fuel pressure regulator

I can not locate the fuel pressure regulator
on my 1999 BMW 528i it is not on rail or
under driver side door don't believe it is a
different motor and code is for the fuel
pressure regulator where can it be.

if your car was built in 1999 like mine it is about 3 or 4 inches in front of the filter on the bottom of car driver side door....it isnt side ways it sits straight up so you could miss it but follow the fuel likes where 2 lines run next to each other, you will find it.......or it just at the back the fuel rail....towards windshield....its actually underneath were the two sold lines meet.....only two places i know of
