the system needs to be blead to get air out of system.it is a hydrolic clutch.
it will take a while to do,you will need someone to pump the clutch while it is being blead,u bleed it at the slave cylender.
Guess I was slow on my response but yes this is the solution!
I bled the clutch and it did go down however now it won't come out of gear while the car is running. I appreciate any help
sounds like it needs a little more bleeding,it seams like it takes forever to get all the air out of system.also check fluid level in clutch master cylender,if low use DOT 3 brake fluid.
The shared master cylinder is a booger to bleed. Just take your time and it should be alright.
2000 528i bleeding clutch.... won't pressure up? Any help on how to pressurize this clutch?
Slave Cylinder Needs Replaced... Use the brake fluid to pressure up slave cylinder and bleed with pressure!
