2000 528i just replaced clutch-pedal stuck-blead the slave-able to start it but it would not come out of gear while running. now clutch feels a little stiff

When the clutch kit was purchased pep boys had the best price for a luk clutch kit. However, double check thier advise. the 528i has what they call a "flush-mount" clutch disk and raised part of the spline (raised nipple) goes toward the motor (not trans) and the raised part fits into the flywheel. Pep boys will tell you the opposite and the raised spline will make your clutch pedal feel hard and not work. Basically, find some one with "ALLDATA" or really knows what they are talking about. A 4 hour job turned into a 2 day job.
