Location of the turn signal/flasher relay in a 2001 530i E39 sedan
Asked by Jorge Jan 09, 2011 at 09:41 PM about the 2001 BMW 5 Series 530i Sedan RWD
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Need help finding the location of and how to replace the turn
signal/flasher relay in a 2001 530i E39 4-door sedan. I'd like to
upgrade to a digital relay to replace all my filament incandescent
turn signal bulbs for all LED turn signals without the need for
independent external resistors in every corner.
Thank you all and happy 2011!

Try going on one of the BMW forums like bimmerfest.com or bimmerwerkz.com . I have the same car as you but not sure of where this relay is located. Alot of knowledgeable people on these forums, you're bound to find someone with the answer. Good luck!
