ABS AND BRAKE LIGHT 03 530i BMW

Asked by currrensy Jun 23, 2017 at 01:24 AM about the 2003 BMW 5 Series 530i Sedan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So, i bought a car knowing it had the problems, but
fixed everything that i thought could have caused it.
but the lights still remained on. i turned my car off
and decided to go inside for awhile to research. i
came back out and started my car, the lights
disappeared. they did eventually come back on
after turning the steering wheel all the way to the
left. not sure why... anyone know? or is willing to
help?

no answers, but mine started doing the same. After about 10-15 min of driving the check engine, ABS, and Brake lights come on. They are off the next time I start the car, but then come on again after about 10 min of driving. The car is handling and braking fine though.

I went into the glove box and messed with the ABS fuses and it made them go away i didn’t notice that they went away immediately but my brother was driving my car and pointed it out. I’m assuming that the fuses was the issue. The light has come back in since. I’m going to try to replace the fuse and i will update everyone.
