2005 bmw 5series brakes feels like they jerk when braking

If you recently has your brakes services, you may want to make sure that your brake lines were properly bled. Air in the line can cause some funky feelings.
thanks MICHEAL but i haven't had brakes worked on and brake pedal doesn't go down to floor as they need bleeding. i take it in tomorrow for second time and it doesn't do it all the time.if you got anymore suggestion it would be greatly appreciated.

That might be a good call. Basically any of the bushing in the steering arm could also cause this too.
I will agree with larchmerelmports that you need to check your thrust arm bushings, on e60 they are hydro bushings meaning they are filled with oil. Over time the rubber will crack open and leak the fluid. As you stop you can actually feel the chassis stop but the body of the car will keep moving forward. Hope it helps
