2006 BMW 530i 149k miles

Asked by GuruY9258 Feb 19, 2018 at 06:44 AM about the 2006 BMW 5 Series 530i Sedan RWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I'm looking at buying a 2006 BMW 530i
with 149k. It has service records and the
only known issue is a leaky oil pan gasket.
I'm going to spend 2k dollars, is it worth
the money?

It's your money, but I wouldn't do it. It will cost BIG bucks when something goes wrong and that could be tomorrow or 2 years from now.

$2,000 for the car? That's a fantastic deal. Check out the E60 forum on bimmerfest.com for more information on this car and common issues. If the car has service records and it's been well maintained, I'd buy it for $2k no problem.
