does anybody know about software on a 2007 BMW 650i convertable?

I've brought my 07 650i in three times for the same problem.  It has software issues.  It gives me fake warning messages like the S.O.S isnt functioning and that the roof isn't closed, stuff like that.  Someone help

there are problems with the TCU module (communication/phone computer) when non approve phone are paired with the vehicle it will eventually lock up the TCU. The S.O.S is part of that system. If you dont completely let the convertible top close it will cause the warning light to come on. i need more info about the roof to point you to a more direct route.

Is it difficult to replace the BMW 650I convertible TCU (2006)? Only through the dealer?
