after letting my 2007 650i idle for 30 mins.white smoke comes bellowing out of the tailpipes.Any suggestions?

My 117,000 mile 2007 BMW is smoking white smoke from tailpipes.I just noticed after running the car for 30 mins,turned it off and back on to close muy window.Smoke came billowing out of both tailpipes.can someone advise?

Not directly related, but why would you let your car idle for 30 minutes?

Thanks Tom.I refilled my coolant just the night before.I did spill some . apbimmer98.you are right.not related.
