Insert your key into the ignition switch on the steering column and turn it to Accessories. Exit the car leaving the driver's side door open and walk around to the front of the car and open the hood. On the top left side of the engine compartment you will find the fuse box. Take the lid off the fuse box and look at the diagram underneath the lid for information for the whereabouts of the ECM fuse. Remove the fuse and check to make sure that the fuse is still good. Return the fuse to its proper place and pull it a second time, repeating the simple procedure. Return the lid to the fuse box and close the hood and try starting the car. By disconnecting and reconnecting the fuse a couple of times, hopefully, you have accomplished resetting the security system without making any further repairs.
