I just replaced my BMW 740li 2004 battery with a brand new one. I can’t get power to car for some reason. I have the battery hooked up right. I also tried to jump it with the new batter. No success

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a brand new battery to power up my 740
and replaced the old one.  Why am I not getting
power? Cables are correctly connected.

Did you have power before the new battery? If so, do you also know that the new battery has to be registered to the vehicle? Garage change $50 for the service. But that shouldn't be the cause of the no start condition.
