2004 Cadillac Cts key stuck

I got into my car this morning put my into ignition nothing I figured my battery
needed charge but then I could not get my key out of ignition what to do?

Don't put any gears then try to take the key out

If it don't affect then you can try to put a new battery because some car need electricity to put the in or out
