I am interested in buying 2007 750LI. Are reliable? What breaks?

Extremely expensive. Brake Parts are at minimum $1,200 from BMW. Don't by cheap after market. BMW's are meant to stop not slow down. I replaced numerous things under warranty and the prices were attached. I probably did $15,000 in warranty work. Nothing was wrong with the car but I just wanted the part changed. If your out of warranty seriously consider what it will cost to fix or else it will be parked. Anyone can by a used vehicle but everyone can't fix them. My best advice is to never ever by thhe badge if you cant afford to fix it. Hope I helped....

Do a Google search ".....common problems" or go to a BMW forum. There is a wealth of info on the net. It just takes time looking for it. Although the newer models are nice, if not under warranty, they have far too many computers and sub systems that can be a headache if they go wrong. I suggest finding another (older model) that has been well cared for and will be less expensive. If you can't do your own repairs, and can't afford a BMW repair shop with mechanics that have gone through the STEP program, then I suggest you get another make of vehicle. (I have owned 8 BMW cars and one BMW motorcycle.)

maintence is a huge but they all have free maintence and can exend them to 100k.the e 65 is a crazy engine and i worked on hundreads if not thousands and engine is damn near bullet proof its the software problems that suck.lots of info.it has fiber optic lines for safety systems and entertainment systems and some shops ruin these by looking for a power source for aftermarket shit.but all in all.if you can afford the payment take care of it.i personaly never had to rebuild the motor.only top end..ars sway bars go out/leak is common.let me know if u need more info.

Not sure if you ever purchased your 2006 750li but I have a CPO beautiful one with 91,000 on it, all the bells and whistles and in great shape. The only reason why I'm selling it after only purchasing it 3 months ago, is because I went to purchase a car for myself and took my almost 18 year old son with me. I walked out with an 2007 Audi Cabriolet for myself and the 750 for him. After driving the 750 since he didn't have his license as of yet, I realized the car was way too much car for him. Too powerful, too expensive, I have other kids and it wasn't fair and the insurance was outrageous! So my quick jumping without thinking will benefit someone with me having had to pay the $1.100 for the dealership to certify the vehicle as in perfect condition.
