Srx 2004 * often radio will not turn off, drivers door lock & window often do not work, & lock
2004 srx often these issues occur sporadically:
Radio will not turn off after you take out key and leave the car
Drivers door will not work the lock & window buttons
I have taken it to 2 dealerships and spent $200 with no answers
Help? Love the car but just bought from my uncle who never had this issue its so irritating

Clean the 1/0 battery cable as it attaches to the frame/chassis...undo the bolt and wirebrush the lug and the place where it bolts to...reassemble...check the relays responsible for the windows and locks...radio~ this intermittent conditions lead me to believe that a brown- out condition is occurring tripping relays randomly~.....to review...MAIN ground connection from battery....the relay for the door lock, window and radio power~
a roadmap helps~
the "accessory relay" might be the one...you may have to pluck and see what the result is on each one....you'll find it~

I just went through this... the problem with mine was a PURPLE wire in the wire harness where it crosses between the door and the vehicle was broken about 2" from the plug. I reconnected the wire and everything works now...
