What ever the cost of premium is, This car get 13MPG city and 19MPG on the highway, but you will get a average of about 15MPG. Here is a link about the fuel: http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/calculatorSelectEngine.jsp?year=2004&make=Mercedes-Benz&model=SL55%20AMG So if prem is $4 a gallon and you drive 150 miles it will cost you abot $40. An other way to look at it is, if you drive 20000miles a year you will use about 1335 gallons times that by the cost per gallon $4 a gallon x 1335 gallons= $5340. This also depends on how you drive, if you like to drive fast and "floor" it alot, you will spend a lot more on fuel. Hope this helps.

Pure Highway I can get 20 as I use cruise control, average is 15, aggressive driving under 10 and pure stop & start is about 11. How you drive is determinant. I also have an E320 e 4-Matic which I get over 27 highway and 21.4 combined - both way above Munroni Sticker numbers.
