What should the normal water temperature be when the engine is warm ?

I have a 2011 ford escape 3.0 V6 auto it has a water temperature gauge that always reads half way for a warm water temperature, there no numbers on the gauge. The other day I hooked up a scangauge to the computer and it read 218 – 220 for a normal warm temperature. Is this to hot?

Nope its good. If the water gets too hot you will get a warning. If the gauge is between the blue and the red, you're good.

its fine normal readings on gas engines are 180-210 degrees farenheit,or mid gauge.
