Ford fusion sound update

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an update on a old question: Today: got in my car to
drive to work and noticed the low brake fluid light and what
looked to be another brake light on the dashboard. Yesterday: I
was driving my car on the interestate to work this morning.
The car was driving fine and then I heard a rattling/banging
sound coming from the drivers side (Front left side of the
vehicle). As I slowed down on the interstate to pull over and
check if something was wrong, the sound went away. I
checked and nothing looked off. Then I got back and stated
driving and the sound came back. I pulled to gas station to
check and thought maybe the bar to keep the hood open was
loose. I put that back and started driving. The sound didnt
come back until I was on the interstate. So i drove a few miles
until my next exit and then the sound randomly went away. I
kept driving until I got to work (About another 15 minutes) and
the sound never came back. I drove back home and still no
sound. Car may have been shaking a bit but not sure as I was
looking for something wrong and it may have just been in my
head. Any idea what this may be ? I appreciate any help

it might be a loss heat shield on the catalytic convertor or exhaust pipes. The welds tend to rust and break.
