How to reset the Wrench light

My battery went dead boosted it a couple
times then the wrench light came on and
when you slow down it jerks then when you
pull out it jerks what could this be I tried to
reset it by stepping on brake and gas peddle
but nothing

That is a check engine light take it to autozone they'll check it for free and clear it if you want
