2011 Malibu cold starting

Why would car turnover but struggle to
start when cold? Have to pump pedal to
start. Once car warms up, car turns over
immediately.

If you live where it is very cold this is not all that unusual. Check the owners manual and see if there is a winter weight oil you should be using. You may want to add a block heater to help the car start on cold mornings.
