2011 subaru Legacy base model auto trans

Asked by ocean9755 Aug 13, 2018 at 10:14 AM about the 2011 Subaru Legacy 2.5i AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My mechanic tested the ECM/computer and he found a fault in the fuel
pressure sensor and a transmission fault.  He suggested I take the car to a
subaru dealer for the transmission fault.  The car runs very well despite all
the warning lights on the dash are on.  He stated he can replace the fuel
sensor but doesn't know enough about the Trans fault.  Could it be as simple
as changing the belts or fluids?

1 Answer

Find out what the transmission fault is. You cannot change the belt in a CVT.
