Why won't the car start?

Purchased a pre-own one about 5 months ago and haven't had any issues with it until the other day. I had driven the car in the morning, and it was fine. In the evening, I went to start it and it won't turn over. AAA came and jump-started it, but the guy told me that the battery is fine. It has been fine since. What do you think is the problem? Has anyone else encountered the same issue?

Why did he jump it if the battery was fine? Sounds like you may have a weak battery, I would take the car to Autozone or some Parts store and ask them to check the battery. This time of year is battery season, when the temperatures change it is hard on the batteries. If the battery is fine then it may be the starter going out or about 20 other possibilities. You may need to just take it to a mechanic for a diagnosis.
Battery is fine still will not start don't buy subaru !
Bad battery connections are a possibility.

I was having this same problem. Subaru was great they kept testing it battery was great fuel injection stuff everything was great but my car occasionally would not start. Then the gentleman in the service department came out to the car and asked me to show him how I started the car. Because of the new systems you should not depress the gas that is why the car won't start you just turn the key.
