Overheating

My 2002 Cadillac DeVille Northstar still
running hot after I put new radiator. The
temperature gauge goes up then down
sometime its still uses a lot of coolant.

    My 2000 deville base is overheating. When it is overheating I turn the heater on full blast. The air coming from the vents is cold, almost like I have the ac on. What could cause this?
