2011 chevy equinox front end issue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have a question I heard a loud knock from the front end of my car at a speed
greater than 50 miles per hour then i sounded like air released ( somewhat
like when an air compressor builds up pressure and it releases) I hit the break
and it stopped. has anyone heard of this before? it sounds like it is coming
from the right front side of the care

I can't tell from your description but you should have a mechanic put your car up on a rack for inspection.

thanks i had a mechanic ride in the car with me when the knocking happened, then all of the sudden it sounded like air was let out of my tire. It has happened twice tonight. Of course both times I it my breaks. So I dont know how long the hissing sound would last. He pulled it in his garage and said i had a bearing going out in the left tire. the tire was loose.
