Can leaving the ECO button on hurt your transmission?

RECENTLY HAD TO REPLACE MY TRANSMISSION AT 190.000 THE SHOP
WHERE IT WAS REPAIRED SAID HE'D NEVER SEEN A TRANSMISSION IT
SUCH BAD REPAIR. i DRIVE ITH THE ECO BUTTON ON AT ALL TIMES

No it will not, I think you have had a bad tranny form the get go. Hard driving, stop and go, not changing your fluid can cause a tranny to break.

Lack of maintenance would be my guess. How many miles did you put on it without changing the fluid? You should be changing the fluid and filter every 30,000 miles.
