2011 Subaru Impreza 5 speed

Asked by Cailin Nov 17, 2018 at 03:17 PM about the 2011 Subaru Impreza 2.5i Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2011 Subaru Impreza Hatchback with 58k miles. Upon slowing to a
stop today, my car shut off. The electronics shut off and then the engine.
When I attempted to use my flashers, instead of a dash indicator light I heard
a loud buzzing sound. I was able to bump start the car back up, and it would
start normally after that. I'm assuming it could be an electrical issue but am
not sure exactly what the problem is. Alternator and battery both seem to
check out just fine.

Possible dead battery and/or alternator. What do you mean by "seem to check out"? What are the volt readings?
