Bought car- needs a lot of repair work

We just bought a 2011 Subaru Impreza from
Jordan- we got it home and went to have it
inspected- it now needs a few thousand dollars
worth or work just to pass inspection!!
I can no longer get in touch with the seller- what
can I do?!! We want the car but feel that we were
scammed with the problems

Most used cars need repairs, that's why the sellers are selling them. Was it a private sale? Then your on your own. These are As Is sales. If it was a dealer, maybe they can help, but without anything in writing or a warranty your out of luck. Always have a car inspected by a mechanic before purchasing. you learned the hard way.

No one warranties 10 year old cars. Maybe you were scammed but there is nothing you can do. I always insist on a recent inspection report showing it passed before buying.
