Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 2001Cadillac Deville and it dies at stops
when brake is applied if i dont keep the gas
pedal down. Is this a pcv valve issue or actual
fuelpump going out?

On todays electronic cars a vacuum leak makes the vehicle idle faster. When a fuel pump begins to fail you loose volume, (problem anytime the engine is under a load, like acceleration or going up an incline) more likely cause would be, dirty throttle plate, air idle control, or TPS (throttle position switch). And don't forget the obvious like a simple clogged air filter.
