how to fix loose hood vortec lover on 2011 chevy 2500HD

The black louver is loose on the right hand side of the left hand louver and flaps
in strong wind

My dealer said it would have to be replaced. Until I decide to spend the kind of money they want for the piece and labor, I bought two 3/4 inch self-tapping screws and fastened it down. I can't see from the driver's position or the passenger's position. Eighty cents plus tax. You may remove this question. Gyru95CYF3

My dealer said their remedy was to replace the louvre for $40 + labor. I bought two 3/4 inch self-tapping screws for $0.80 plus tax and screwed it down. You may remove this question now. thanks, Guru95CYF3
