wow. It starts with these bad sensors in there? Think it's time for a new battery as well 2000 puts this battery squarely in kaputsville- Change them things out, then report back~

You know just the act of changing the battery so it gets clean ground now, may cause the sensors to come back to life!
A battery isn't going to make just 2 sensors quit working and the only time a battery should be replaced is when it fails a load test. And yes those sensors being bad will make the car run the way yours is.

connections will oxidize before your very eyes, it is inextricable, no amount of shrink wrap can stop a long period of moisture laden air from penetrating into the connections to make a situation of "brown power" which does not DRIVE the electronics but whispers "you may or may not activate" when issued the brown power...in light of auto makers encapsulating the electronics (dodge ignition modules in the '70's) or some kind of dual containment, electronics are going to fail, it's the nature of the beast~
And again you are telling this guy all his problems will be solved with a new battery.
