Cadillac Won't Start

I have a 2000 Cadillac Seville STS and it isn't
starting. Sometimes it will start and other
times it won't. When I get in to start it, my
dash lights come on and radio and windows
work, but no turn over. Then other times I
won't have any problem starting it. It's not
the battery because I checked that and it's at
100%. What else could it be? I was told that
it could be that I need a new key. That it's not
recognizing it and then it recognizes it
sometimes. Any other solutions? Please
help thank you everyone.

If you have this problem on the Cadillac STS 2002 were you turn the key and nothing happens only dash turns on it's your starter change the starter I had this problem for 2 years got the starter changed and no more turns on all the time now the starter is located inside the headers The Cadillac STS 2002 is a beautiful car and worth fixing and keeping it well maintained
I have the same issue as Cadillac818, i put in a brand new battery and nothing. If i use a jump box it starts right up. Could it still be the starter?
I have a 2001 sevllie my starter was changed out 2 1/2 years ago. It would start sometimes and sometimes not. Then it finally would not turn over , not even a sound. Its gone out again? Having only driven the car just under 450 miles, since the new ignition was replaced. Out again????
