I am considering purchasing an 2011 Ford Explorer
limited with 86,000 miles on it for 19,500. Is the
mileage a huge concern?  Can I expect to get some
miles out of this vehicle with little huge maintenance
repairs

Consider. I purchased a new 2016 F 150 XL, work truck with AC, power steering, and a good time radio right after the 2017 came out. for 22K plus tax. You're talking You're talking 2500 bucks more. Unless you definitely need a SUV.

Double check the price on Edmund's and Car Gurus. Always offer less than asking price.
