I have a 2007 ford f150 that is acting like it is in four wheel when its not what could it be?

Is it binding in turns like its in 4x4?

Strange. What kind o fluid did you put in it?

The actuators are vacuum actuated. If they lose vacuum to them they will lock into 4x4. There is a solenoid on the firewall that can go bad and there are lots of lines that can crack an cause it to be in 4x4 without commanding it.
