2007 f150 4.6l no crank no start

Asked by GuruS18SB Jun 03, 2019 at 01:03 AM about the 2007 Ford F-150 XL Long Bed

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 ford f150 4.6l and recently replaced
the engine with 2008 4.6l from another f150 and it
won't start. The 2008 4.6l engine was rebuilt before
installing. Everything is connected how it should be
but when I turn the key it won't start. The battery is
good, the starter is new. What can I check or test?
It doesn't have a starter relay on the firewall, fender
or engine bay at all. Anyone has any ideas or
suggestions to guide me to find the problem?
Any ideas and suggestions are appreciated!
Thank you for your time.

try your ground. Both from the battery to the fender and your motor to the firewall. good luck.

I checked and both of those grounds are good, the obd gave me 2 codes, 1 for the fuel rail sensor a high circuit and a fuel temperature sensor a high circuit. I still get no click or start. I'm not sure what to check next. By the way, thank you for responding!
