Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced the thermostat on a 2008 dodge ram 1500 4.7L. The ETC light came
on the following day. I don't know what it could be. Thermostat housing unit is
located at the bottom of the truck. Any tips or hunches on this issue?

Update From Poster: I cleaned Throttle control flipper. I also reseted the gauges. The etc message disappeared. However, the vehicle will not turn over. I will hear the clicking sound then it will stop. The lights for the milage tracker go dim. I checked the dip stick for milkshake of doom. There was no collant mix. I did smell something burning from the exhaust and from the motor tho. Any ideas guru's?
