3rd row side window glue got detached

Asked by Sinok Apr 20, 2016 at 02:31 AM about the 2011 Mercedes-Benz R-Class R 350 4MATIC

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 2011 R350.  The 3rd row side window on driver side happen to detached from the bar of the car.  Now, that window flaps whenever I close the door due to the pressure inside the car.  It looks like the glue got detached somehow since I can see the round glue mark inside the window.  What should I do?   Any thoughts or recommendations?

Thanks for the helpful answers, Tom and Tennisshoes. Tennisshoes, May I ask how much did you pay for regluing to the body shop?

Just want to update: I took my car to the dealership. They are willing to re-glue it but didn't have strong glue to do the job. Since there's only one time chance to fix it, they referred me an auto window shop. The technician in the window shop re-glued it right away, waited 5-10 min. until the glue dries out and then, tested power button to open/close that window. Works great without any cost. Thanks all.
