2011 Mitsubishi Galant no power to fuel pump

Asked by Chadwick Jun 22, 2019 at 01:24 AM about the 2011 Mitsubishi Galant ES

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

No power goes to the fuel pump. When putting power directly to the fuel pump
it works, but it continues to run the fuel pump instead of only for two seconds.
Fuse is fine, when checking power there is no power to the pump when starting
the car. Is there a relay for the pump that could be bad? If so, where is it
located, I can't find a diagram with it for the life of me.

Any help would be appreciated. I lost my job already because of this incident. Can someone please tell me or give a diagram where the relay/s are for the fuel pump?

I'm still needing help. Fuel pump won't start unless power is put directly to it. Is there a relay for the fuel pump, if so, where is it located?

Can someone at least point me in the right direction of who I can talk to about my problem? I am on disability and cant' afford having the car towed to a shop.
