Fan keeps running

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After I turn my car off, my fan
continues to run for the next 20 to 30
seconds. Why?

Same thing happen to my gmc terrain car.. My fan keep on working after i turn off my car, my AC doesn't work well, also the relay from the fuse box was getting hot.. i went to the workshop and they just reset something from the computer and things goes well...
