95 fleetwood fuel pump not responding

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

95 cadillac fleetwood
109k miles

i drove the car all day without a problem. i forgot my interior lights were on and didn't notice til 4hrs later. the battery was strong since the car turns over but woudn't crank as if the fuel pump wasn't reponding. i checked all the fuses in the electric box under the hood and no popped fuses. so i'm running out of options. i'm guessing it's some sort of sensor, but i'm not sure. any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

put starter fluid in the air intake, then cover it back up then try to start it. only way mines will start.
