Ac cools on and off and doesnt workt properly

Asked by Miscellaneous Mar 28, 2021 at 01:53 AM about the 2011 Toyota Yaris Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2011 yaris AC doesnt work properly. The ac
turns on and it would blow a little bit of cold air for
few minutes then after few minutes, it would blow
hot air. Six months ago i took my car to the
technician with this problem and they checked for
leaks and couldnt find any leaks and filled up the
car with ac coolant or gas. But the problem still
persisted.

But now the ac just blow hot air. It blow a lot of air
but its hot. So technichians this time auggested
that i need to change my condenser, compressor
and a wall valve? I didnt change any yet
But They refilled the coolant or gas and now it gives
cold air. But i m suspecting its just temporary as it
only cools when j keep driving.

take it to a pro you can trust , bite the bullet and pay the price , or jerk around with it and end up taking it to a pro anyway.
