Loosen the lug bolts a quarter turn. Jack the car up in gear with the parking brake on. Remove the lug bolts. Remove tire. Install tire hanger in top lug bolt hole. Slide tire on hanger. Install four lug bolts snug. Remove hanger. Install last lug bolt. Lower car until tire is on the ground. Torque lug bolts in a star pattern to 80 pounds foot. Lower car and remove jack. Recheck lug torque after 50 miles of driving.

dude just look in your trunk everything is there. EVEN A HOW TO BOOK. But if you have to put on your self,1 loosen nuts. don't take off. 2 jack up car make sure you put jack in right place, look under car. and make sure your in park, and PUT HANDBRAKE UP AS MUCH AS YOU CAN WITHOUT FORCING TOO MUCH to make sure its stable and safe. 3. after jacking up, carefully proceed to take off nuts by hand. and take wheel off by tire, not putting hands in rim. If not coming off kick tire part of wheel medium/hard. 4. once new wheel is on REMEMBER TO USE THE 5 star technique to put nuts back on. IF YOU DONT KNOW THE TECHNIQUE THEN YOU CANNO BE THE MASTER OF SHAOLIN AND YOU SHOULD PROCEED BY CALLING BMW OR AAA FOR ASSISTANCE OR A TOW GUY TO COME AND TELL YOU THAT YOU SHOULDNT HAVE WHAT YOU DONT KNOW ABOUT. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE OWNING A BMW. i understand if its dadys money and a lease.

the order of tightening bolts is like drawing a star with one motion or think of it this way. put one tight then skip one, then skip one again and the order of last two don't matter. Hope i was helpful. Mechanic Journey Level Auto body specialist. Car dealer. N.Y.
